RC Toulon implements COACH-IQ for its 2025-2026 season
Paris, July 8th, 2025 – The sports performance analytics platform COACH-IQ is now available to all professional players of the Rugby Club Toulonnais (RCT) for the 2025-2026 season. After a successful trial period with the staff, nearly 300 RCT athletes – from grade U14 onwards – will in turn use the solution, designed to optimize both collective and individual performance by harnessing data and artificial intelligence.
An analytics platform designed for high-performance sport
The COACH-IQ solution was developed by the “Innovation Active” (Active Innovation) department of TRIMANE, a French company specialized in consulting and development in Data Intelligence and AI for 20 years. The technical expertise of TRIMANE, combined with the field experience of the “Rouge et Noir” (Red and Black) team, underpinned the design of an intuitive, easy-to-use tool adapted to the constraints of demanding sports environments.
COACH-IQ allows clubs to centralize their operational data (GPS, health monitoring, tactical indicators, etc.) and automatically convert it into readable metrics, tangible and actionable by coaches, analysts, and athletes themselves.
The platform relies on artificial intelligence technologies and algorithms capable of analyzing significant volumes of data, while maintaining a clear interface that is instantly understandable to non-technical users.
Data and hands-on collaboration with the RCT
Since 2023, the TRIMANE team has been working with the technical staff of the Rugby Club Toulonnais to gradually integrate the platform into the core of the club’s performance strategy. This approach follows an iterative and practical mindset: each feature, each visualization, and each indicator has been adjusted to meet concrete needs identified by RCT’s physical trainers, analysts, and coaches.
This co-construction has enabled COACH-IQ to evolve in line with the realities of high-performance sport. By now opening the platform to its professional athletes, the RCT strengthens this dynamic by giving them direct access to their individual data. Every player can track their progression, identify their areas of focus, and actively participate in the collective pursuit of performance.

A platform by a sports team, for sports teams
